Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD-TV. O'Dell's reporting on the lax police response in response to DUI incidents in Charleston led to an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division, which led to a change in policy from state officials regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded the Best Report of the Media Award in South Carolina by the Associated Press. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative reporter. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as the weekend and weekday correspondent. In addition to her current role as anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and as well contributes to Dateline NBC. She has covered major events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. In addition to co-hosting Pre-ShowArrivals to The Emmys & The Golden Globes.
